Daille's Recent News - July 13, 2017

Daille wishes to thank all of her fans for their support. This journey called life has put some obstacles in her path, but rest assured she will persevere and will not give up! Finally this website is up and running once again!

Daille is constantly learning and exploring new things. It is not easy for her to post to this website and address all its needs as effectively as she would like, but that day is coming when she can.

At the moment, she is the keyboardist/musical director for the band, Pristine Raeign. This Wilmington, DE based band has been on the move and Daille has been with the group since 2014. This is serious business. Because the band is working on a very regular basis, she has to prepare for all of the engagements and make sure the band is ready for each one. However, Daille will continue to pursue her songwriting and will make her music available for purchase as soon as it is feasible. And you never know WHERE she will turn up working at an event. She will keep you posted.

She encourages and invites all of her fans to check out Pristine Raeign's website, join their mailing list, Like their Facebook Page, and follow them on Twitter. This is something Daille is very passionate about, and really wants people to be a part of the positive energy emanating from it. If you love great music and entertainment, Pristine Raeign is an oasis.

If you have not done so already, please make sure you "Like" Daille's Facebook Band Page, Daille Kettrell & Khamelion. It is used for sharing this band's events as well as Pristine Raeign's--and whatever seems appropriate regarding music and/or music education.

Pristine Raeign on the Move - May 31, 2015

Daille is currently the music director of this versatile new project, Pristine Raeign. This band was the vision of a super talented lead vocalist and entertainer, Shianne Ladale who hails from Dallas, TX. The band has been in existence for a few years, but collectively the members have over twenty-five years experience in the business. They have been ranked the #1 and #2 band in the Wilmington, DE region in the Funk/Country/Blues genre according to Reverb Nation since joining the page over a year ago. Visit for music, videos, photos, and a complete calendar of the band schedule.

Pristine Raeign was formed by Ms. Ladale, previously a professional country singer & Nashville Recording artist. She came to the Tri-state area from Texas after taking a brief break to return to her first love, music. Shianne moved to the Northeast with plans to work on a project. As a result, their faith brought Shianne and drummer Tina Young together to form what is now known as Pristine Raeign.

The band has been performing almost every genre of music from their locale of Delaware, to New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, and Washington, DC. . They have been recording original music and released an EP featuring some of the hottest tracks around. It will be no surprise to hear them on radio stations in the near future. A complete CD project will be coming soon, because the band is full of creative energy that just keeps on flowing...

Their next engagement will be at the Pickled Herring in North East, MD on Saturday, June 13th--a spot where the crowd has been so entertained that the band has repeatedly been invited for return performances since January of 2015. Another highlight of the summer will be the band's performance during the LadyBug Music Festival in Wilmington, DE on Thursday, July 16th. This show will feature Daille, Tina, Shianne, Tracyne Hines on bass, and special guest Karyn Smith on guitar for an all female lineup! This is an event you DO NOT WANT TO MISS, so MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW!

Daille is very excited to be a part of this project, because it allows her to use her music directing skills in a new way. Every project has new challenges, and she is up for the task. Integrating and infusing new styles and incorporating them into her repertoire can be daunting, but Daille takes it in stride. Blues, Rock, and Country music are genres that she has always enjoyed, but playing them hasn't always been easy, because they didn't come as naturally to her as Jazz, R&B, and Funk. However, Daille is making the transition, and is also co-songwriting with Ladale to prepare for her other developing skill, music production. This band is sure to grow by leaps and bounds by such committed individuals.

Daille Plays with Freakwincey New Year's Eve! - December 28, 2011

I am playing with the Freakwincey Band at Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA to ring in the New Year 2012 this December 31st. Freakwincey has a fantastic lineup of musicians, led by Ray Billups, drummer, including Jerome Mitchell, guitar, Gene Thomas, guitar, Ray Jordan, bass, Anthony Lyles, trumpet, Ron Crawford, saxophone, Percy, guitar, and featuring Ja-Tun, sultry vocalist. With me playing the keys (as all the guitarists and myself staying skillfully out of each other's way) we are going to give the crowd something special to remember! Freakwincey, a Plainfield-based Band that has been heavily influenced by the Parliament/Funkadelic Organization, has from time to time featured the offspring of P-Funk. So the tradition continues, and the band will be playing dance classics with a funky edge. I am looking forward to playing some high-energy music as we bring 2011 to a close and have a funky good time doing it to death with all the merry-makers! Funk ON! GETTNG DOWN ON THE ONE!
